Emma Brown

The Washington Post
Investigative Reporter
Emma Brown is an investigative reporter for The Washington Post. She wrote the story in which Christine Blasey Ford came forward to accuse Brett Kavanaugh, then a nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, of sexual assault when they were both in high school. Brown worked as a wilderness ranger in Wyoming and as a middle-school teacher in Alaska before joining The Post as an intern in 2009. She wrote obituaries, covered local and national education, and then joined the investigations team. She is currently on leave from the newspaper to write a book, How to Raise a Boy: Rethinking Gender in America After #MeToo.
