The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change dramatically shortened the calendar with the release of a landmark report late last year, estimating that some of the more devastating effects of climate change are likely to be felt by 2040. Report co-author Kristie Ebi will discuss those findings with Heidi Roop, whose organization authored the similarly gloomy National Climate Assessment, joined by former EPA staffer Mike Cox, who resigned in protest of the Trump administration’s posture to climate crisis under EPA administrator Scott Pruitt.
